This employee break schedule template is intended to organize multiple breaks for staff from different departments during work shifts. It is designed for shift supervisors, HR, and operations teams to plan, record, and track actual times for up to four short breaks, each spaced at 15-minute intervals.
To use this template, begin by entering the supervisor’s name at the top to identify the manager or team leader responsible for approving and monitoring the break schedule. Next, add the date for which the schedule is created. List your team members along with their respective departments. In the break table, the “Planned” column should be completed in advance for each employee based on shift length or department policies. The “Actual” column is used to record the time each employee returns after their break. This layout is typically used to track any differences between planned and actual breaks and to adjust the future scheduling based on workload and departmental routines. It can also be used to monitor employee compliance with assigned break periods.
You can fully customize the number of break slots, interval durations, labels, and formatting in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
