Homeschool weeks rarely look the same from Monday to Friday. Some days stay on track, and other days shift because of appointments, errands, a longer lesson, or a topic your child needs to revisit. Having a weekly plan written out makes it easier to set expectations, keep learning balanced, and adjust without losing track of what still needs to get done.

This weekly homeschool schedule template gives you editable weekday time slots where you can write subjects, learning activities, breaks, and commitments in a clean weekly layout. It also includes a student photo area and grade label so the schedule stays easy to identify.

The template includes an example slide with dates, times, and subjects already filled in. It is there to show how the layout can be completed, so you can follow the same pattern when entering your own plan.

How to Use This Template

Start by adding the fixed parts of your week first, such as tutoring sessions, co-op classes, therapy sessions, sports practice, or live online lessons. Put these into the correct weekday and time slot so everything else can be planned around them.

Next, add your core academics in a realistic order. If focus is stronger earlier in the day, place reading, writing, or math there. Put flexible blocks later, such as science activities, art, projects, outdoor time, or library work. If you rotate subjects, keep the same time slots and change the subject names by day so the routine feels familiar.

Then build in breathing room. Leave at least one lighter block in the day or a catch-up slot in the week for spillover work, errands, or a slower morning. This keeps the schedule usable even when plans shift.

To keep the layout readable, write short titles inside each slot and add only essential details, such as a page range or a worksheet name. If you plan to print the schedule, slightly increase the font size and keep each time slot focused on the main task.

To Sum Up

This weekly homeschool schedule template is designed with editable SVG icons and shape elements, so you can resize them and change colors without the graphics turning blurry or pixelated. This is useful if you want the schedule to match a theme, use color-coding for different subjects, or stay readable when printing at different sizes.

Every part of the layout is customizable in PowerPoint. You can edit the text in each time slot, adjust the time labels, change headings, and move or remove design elements based on how your homeschool week is planned.
